Head to Head
England hold a 12-4 head to head record against Denmark with five draws in the 21 previous clashes between the nations.
Denmark won the most recent meeting with a 1-0 victory in the UEFA Nations League in October last year.
England Form
England produced their best performance of Euro 2020 to thump Ukraine 4-0 in the quarter-final on Saturday.
Gareth Southgate's side took an early lead through Harry Kane. They doubled the advantage within a minute of the restart after half-time as Harry Maguire headed home.
Kane got his second of the game to end Ukraine hopes and Jordan Henderson rounded off the scoring with his first international goal.
It was a fifth straight clean sheet at the tournament following 1-0 wins over Croatia and Czech Republic and a 0-0 draw with Scotland en route to topping Group D.
England then booked their spot in the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Germany thanks to goals from Raheem Sterling and Kane.
England Team News
Goalkeepers: Aaron Ramsdale, Sam Johnstone, Jordan Pickford
Defenders: Ben Chilwell, Conor Coady, Reece James, Harry Maguire, Tyrone Mings, Luke Shaw, John Stones, Kieran Trippier, Kyle Walker, Ben White
Midfielders: Jude Bellingham, Jordan Henderson, Mason Mount, Kalvin Phillips, Declan Rice
Forwards: Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Bukayo Saka, Jadon Sancho, Raheem Sterling
England boss Gareth Southgate faces a dilemma over whether to stick to the back four system employed against Ukraine or switch to back five and match Denmark's shape.
If he opts for a five-man defence, Kieren Trippier will get a recall with Kyle Walker moving into the right centre-back role.
If England stick with the 4-2-3-1, Southgate will need to make a call on who gets the starting role on the England right. Jadon Sancho is likely to face competition from Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka.
Denmark Form
Denmark have excelled in the knockout football scenario that they faced since losing their opening two games at Euro 2020.
Kasper Hjulmand’s side lost their opening match 1-0 to Finland, a game in which Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch, before losing 2-1 to Belgium.
Needing to beat Russia to keep qualification hopes alive, Denmark recorded a 4-1 victory thanks to goals from Mikkel Damsgaard, Yussuf Poulsen, Andreas Christensen and Joakim Maehle.
Another comprehensive victory in the Round of 16 followed as Denmark beat Wales 4-0. Kasper Dolberg scored twice after coming into the side and Maehle and Martin Braithwaite got the others.
Dolberg was on the scoresheet in a 2-1 quarter-final win over Czech Republic to book Denmark's spot on the semis. Thomas Delaney had opened the scoring after just five minutes.
