The Dutch champions haven’t been able to take that form to the Champions League, starting with a 3-1 defeat at Juventus. They were unlucky against Sporting CP, conceding late in a 1-1 draw.

Peter Bosz’s side returned to the Eredivisie with a 2-1 win against Sparta Rotterdam, holding on after Matteo Dams was sent off in the 49th minute.

PSV won 2-1 at AZ Alkmaar on Saturday, playing against 10 men for 80 minutes with Luuk de Jong and Noa Lang finding the net.
