PSV punched their Champions League playoff ticket by securing four victories in last five rounds, beating Girona 4-0, Shakhtar Donetsk 3-2, Red Star Belgrade 3-2 and Liverpool 3-2.
Their most recent form has been inconsistent though, winning just one of the last three games across competitions. After conceding two goals in stoppage time against NEC Nijmegen (3-3), they eliminated Feyenoord 2-0 from the Dutch Cup.

It is still unclear if Thiago Motta can count on Andrea Cambiaso and Pierre Kalulu for this match, both being doubtful. Arkadiusz Milik, Bremer and Juan Cabal are confirmed to miss the PSV clash.
As for the Dutch side, defenders Adamo Nagalo and Olivier Boscagli suffered injuries last weekend, while Malik Tillman, Ricardo Pepi and Richard Ledezma are ruled out with long-term injuries.
