Valencia play host to city rivals Levante in La Liga at the Estadio Mestalla on Friday night. Valencia have a great home record against Levante, so I am backing them to claim the three points, with both teams finding the back of the net.

Valencia have flattered to deceive this season and sit in ninth place on the La Liga table. Their home record has been decent in the league, but their European exploits are nothing short of poor.

Midfield enforcer Geoffrey Kondogbia is suspended for this clash, while their are doubts over the fitness of central defender Ezequiel Garay.

Levante are sitting relatively pretty eight points clear of the relegation zone, but they will still be looking nervously over their shoulder - as a run of poor results could drag them into the relegation scrap.

Inconsistency has been a real issue for Levante in La Liga this campaign. This is especially true of away matches. They have lost their last five away games in La Liga.

After a 2-1 loss at Villarreal, Levante were impresisve as they downed title-hopefuls Real Madrid 1-0 at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia. Sadly, that fine result was followed by a 3-0 mauling away at Eibar.
