Cape Town Spurs vs Casric Stars Predictions - Spurs to beat Stars to nil once again

These sides have met on three previous occasions with Cape Town Spurs holding a 2-1 advantage.

In the playoffs, they’ve beaten both Casric Stars (away) and Maritzburg (away) by 1-0 margins. 

Coach Shaun Bartlett has no injuries or suspensions. He may be tempted to recall Boitumelo Radiopane alongside Ashley Cupido in a more attacking setup. 

No other changes are expected with veteran Michael Morton anchoring midfield. Veterans Clayton Daniels and Nazeer Allie are key at the back.

Casric have lost both promotion playoff matches so far and will be out of the running if they draw here. 

Stars drew their final three NFD matches to finish third. They drew 1-1 at Pretoria Callies, 1-1 at home to Venda FC and 2-2 at All Stars FC on the final day.

Their two playoff matches have ended in defeats. They lost 1-0 at home to Cape Town Spurs before a 2-0 loss to Maritzburg United last Wednesday.

Coach Bucs Mthombeni could make some changes to his side. Attacking midfielder Sibusiso Milazi could start. 

In midfield, Given Thibedi could be dropped and Mumuni Abubakar may remain on the subs bench.
