After a 1-0 defeat at TS Galaxy, Chiefs won 3-0 at home to AmaZulu and 2-0 at a Stellenbosch side that played with ten men for 35 minutes. A 1-1 home draw with Mamelodi Sundowns followed in the MTN8 semi-final first leg.

Their weekend match saw a 0-0 home draw with Royal AM. Chiefs dominated the clash but missed their two ‘big chances’.

Coach Molefi Ntseki handed a first start to striker Jasond Gonzalez on Saturday. Attacking midfielder George Matlou was also given a rare starting place.

Both could drop down to the bench for this one. Sifiso Hlanti could be protected as he is one yellow from a suspension.
