Kaizer Chiefs vs Cape Town City Predictions
City have a great record against Chiefs and are full of confidence again. Amakhosi are struggling to score consistently at home so I’m tipping them to lose this one.

Head to Head
Cape Town City hold an 8-7 advantage against Kaizer Chiefs across 18 previous meetings with three draws.
The sides last met in August in the MTN8 as Kaizer Chiefs scored late to win 2-1 in Cape Town. City had won four of the previous five meetings between the teams.
Kaizer Chiefs Form & Team News
Amakhosi sit sixth in the PSL table. A win last Wednesday ended a five match winless run in all competitions.
After a 1-1 home draw in the first leg of MTN8 semi-final vs Mamelodi Sundowns, they drew 0-0 at home with Royal AM. Successive losses followed, 1-0 at SuperSport United (PSL) and 2-1 at Sundowns (MTN8 second leg).
Last week, they played well in a 2-1 home win over Sekhukhune United after trailing 1-0. Chiefs outshot their opponents 19-8 in the victory.
Defensive midfield Sibongiseni Mthethwa is pushing for a first start. He made his debut as a substitute in the last match.
Edmilson Dove is set to be preferred at left back to Sifiso Hlanti. Given Msimango is set for a recall in defence.
Kaizer Chiefs Predicted Lineup
Petersen; Frosler, Msimango, Ditlhokwe, Dove; Mthethwa, Castillo, Maart; Saile, Du Preez, Mmodi.
Cape Town City Form & Team News
City appear to be slowly returning to form. They have followed five successive defeats with a draw and a win in the PSL to move up to ninth in the table.
A 1-0 home defeat to Sekhukhune United ended a run of eight home matches without defeat. They lost 2-0 at Orlando Pirates and conceded twice in added time to lose 3-2 at AmaZulu.
City ended their losing streak with a 0-0 draw at TS Galaxy. On Saturday, they came from behind to beat Cape Town Spurs 3-1 at home in a derby match.
Coach Eric Tinkler is without injured central defender Nathan Fasika. Fellow defender Taariq Fielies has departed for AmaZulu.
In a busy week, some changes to the XI are possible. Lorenzo Gordinho could play against his former club at the back whilst veteran midfielder Thato Mokeke may start too.
Cape Town City Predicted Lineup
Keet; Mhkize, Cupido, Gordinho, Van Heerden; Ambina, Nodada, Mokeke; Nyama, Mayo, Gonzalez.
Verdict
I see City winning this match but the double chance market looks safer and offers excellent value. I'm also backing Cape Town City to keep a clean sheet.
