The Botswana international has recently fought his way back into the XI at Chiefs. Al Ittihad are rumoured to be willing to spend a large fee and Amakhosi may see the deal as too good to turn down.
After initially being totally of favour this season, Ditlhokwe has been selected in an unfamiliar left back role after an injury to Bradley Cross.

The potential sale of Ditlhokwe would leave Amakhosi with three different options in the left back role. Bradley Cross, Happy Mashiane and Bongani Sam can all comfortably slot into that fullback area. Cross is more naturally a central defender, though.
However, Chiefs’ coach has spoken about needing to find a specialist in the next transfer window. Nabi said:
“Every time there’s an opportunity in the transfer window, we strengthen the team, we use it.
“We also feel that we should have had a left-back that is a specialist in its position. The one that plays there [Bradley Cross], although he plays amazingly well, he is someone who was there at first to try him.
“We believe that going to the end of the season, we are in the right space with the right ingredients to do something good.”
Chiefs Missing Six Players for Nedbank Cup clash
Kaizer Chiefs coach, Nasreddine Nabi has confirmed the absence of six players for this weekend’s Nedbank Cup clash vs Chippa United.
Speaking to the assembled media, the Tunisian coach said: “Unfortunately, our captain [Maart] is suspended. Ox [Sibongiseni Mthethwa] is still injured and won’t be part of the game.
“Solomons and Dove need time to play friendly matches and get themselves fit.”
Aside from Yusuf Maart, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Dillan Solomons and Edmilson Dove, two forwards are absent in Wandile Duba and Ashley Du Preez.
