Golden Arrows vs Marumo Gallants Predictions - Hosts to make it three wins in a row

Arrows are unbeaten in nine previous matches vs Marumo Gallants with six wins and three draws.

The sides last met in January 2023 as Golden Arrows won 3-2 at home.

Arrows were on a run of just two wins in 21 matches before winning their last two. Their last eight PSL matches have seen them lose just once.

A 3-0 loss to Stellenbosch was followed by a fine 0-0 draw vs Mamelodi Sundowns. Two 1-1 home draws followed vs Chippa United and Cape Town Spurs. 

On the final day of last season, they won 3-1 at AmaZulu. On Wednesday, Arrows won 2-0 away at Stellenbosch FC a fine result to start the 2024-25 season.

Arrows sold left back Bradley Cross to Kaizer Chiefs. Themba Mantshiyane is set to take his place at centre back.

Lungelo Nguse netted off the bench in midweek. The striker will hope to be handed a start for this match.

Marumo bought the top-flight status of Moroka Swallows. They only finished 11th in the National First Division last season.

Gallants began their PSL season with a 2-1 home loss to Kaizer Chiefs. They led 1-0 but gave up lots of chances from set-pieces.

Marumo Gallants have signed more than 15 new players with over a dozen players departing. offloaded Joseph Molangoane is suspended at right back after his red card vs Kaizer Chiefs.

Coach Dan Malesela is not expected to make many changes from the loss on Saturday.
