TS Galaxy made light work of minnows D’General in a 3-0 win on Sunday. They will play host to Chippa United after the latter’s 2-1 home victory over lower league Ravens.

AmaZulu will host Orlando Pirates in Durban. Usuthu won 2-0 at Sekhukhune United in the last round whilst Orlando Pirates thrashed Hungry Lions 4-0 at home.

The final quarter-final sees Stellenbosch face SuperSport United. Stellies won 6-1 at Milford in the round of 16 whilst Matsatsantsa won 3-1 at Richards Bay. The coaches of the respective teams, Steve Barker and Gavin Hunt, are currently colleagues on the CAF A Coaching Badge.

Stellenbosch Coach Comments on the Draw

Steve Barker told SuperSport TV after the draw vs Gavin Hunt’s team: "We are both on the Caf A License course so we have a whole week to spend together, so we have time to strategize," Barker joked.

"SuperSport are a tough team, they have cup pedigree and they have won the Nedbank Cup a number of times and they have a really solid squad and a coach who knows how to win trophies. If you want to advance to the semi-finals and finals of competitions, you have to beat good teams. Lucky for us that the game is at home.”

How the Draw was Made

There are no seeds in the Nedbank Cup.

The first team drawn in each tie is designated as the home team. The second team drawn will be the visitors.

The exact dates and times of the four matches will be announced in due course.
