South Africa are favourites and at full strength, they should be good enough to win. Both sides do struggle in front of goal, so I do not see many goals here. I’m backing Bafana Bafana to win to nil.

South Africa got their World Cup qualifying campaign off to a winning start, beating Benin 2-1 at home. It was followed a week later by a 2-0 loss in Rwanda.

Lesotho Form

Lesotho failed to qualify for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations so they will be using this fixture as preparation for their World Cup qualifiers later this year.

Having said that, Lesotho have achieved some notable results over the last 12 months. They ended the 2023 COSAFA Cup as runners-up, losing the final 1-0 to Zambia. They then drew 1-1 in Nigeria in a World Cup qualifier before another draw against Benin in a friendly.

Last weekend Lesotho went down 2-0 away to Mozambique.
