Senegal vs South Sudan Predictions - Senegal to cruise to victory in World Cup qualifier

These two sides have never met previously.

Senegal are favourites to progress from their group and should have little problem at home in their opener. They come into this qualification process as African champions and will fancy themselves to qualify for the next World Cup.

Senegal have a very strong squad including Sadio Mane. They are likely to feature their strongest side to not risk dropping any points at home.

South Sudan have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions. Their solitary victory came in a 1-0 success against Kenya in their last match.

Before that South Sudan were hampered 3-0 by Egypt and 4-0 by Mali. Defensively South Sudan have been found wanting against stronger sides and scoring goals has also been a problem.

South Sudan have little to speak of in terms of big names. They will sit back and try to counter against Senegal, something that is likely to fail.
