Roberto Mancini’s side started the 3rd Round with a 1-1 draw against Indonesia. Salem Al-Dawsari saw a late penalty saved in a game where they had 66% possession and 18-7 shots.

The Green Falcons won 2-1 in China in their last game. They were 1-0 down when Mohamed Kanno was sent off early on, Hassan Kadesh equalising in the first half and netting the winner in the 90th minute.

Hajime Moriyasu’s side won 5-0 in Bahrain last time out. Ayase Ueda and Hidemasa Morita scored two goals each with Koki Ogawa coming off the bench to get on the score sheet.
