Comoros vs Ghana Predictions
Surprisingly Ghana are heavy favourites to win in Comoros this weekend. The visitors were poor at home this past weekend despite picking up all three points.

I am backing BTTS in this game with a chance of a home win.
- Comoros won their last match against Ghana.
- Comoros have won their last 2 matches.
- Ghana have won 3 of their last 5 matches.
Head to Head
In the three matches these two have played previously there has been one win for each side and a draw. They last met in 2022 during the Africa Cup of Nations, a match Comoros won 3-2.
Comoros Form
Comoros are unbeaten in their last three matches and have been in pretty good form for some time now. While the COSAFA Cup this year didn’t go according to plan, it was a vastly weakened squad they sent to the tournament.
In their final AFCON qualifier, Comoros drew 1-1 at home to Zambia but had already confirmed their place in the tournament beforehand. They then beat Cape Verde 2-1 away in a friendly.
Comoros were at their best this past weekend, beating Central African Republic 4-2 at home in their opening World Cup qualifier. Despite going a goal down early, Comoros hit back to level in the first half before scoring three more goals by the 67th minute to secure the points.
Comoros Injuries & Team News
After a cacking home win last time out, Comoros will be looking to make it two in a row at home. Expect the same lineup unless there are injuries.
Ghana Form
Ghana are regulars at the FIFA World Cup but have not been in the greatest form in recent times. Prior to World Cup qualification starting, Ghana lost 2-0 and 4-0 in Mexico and the USA.
While the Black Stars picked up all three points at home against Madagascar in their opening World Cup qualifier, it was very far from being convincing.
It took until the 90th minute for Inaki Williams to find the winner for the hosts. It was a poor performance and will need to be far better against Comoros.
Ghana Injuries & Team News
Ghana were at full strength this past weekend and given the performance, they may opt to make some changes to freshen things up. Inaki Williams will however be key in the final third again.
Verdict
I am backing BTTS in this encounter with the hosts to possibly cause an upset.
