Cape Verde Form

Cape Verde played to a 0-0 draw against Eswatini at home but secured a 1-0 away win in the return leg before drawing 0-0 against Morocco in an international friendly and beating Burkina Faso 3-1 at home in an AFCON qualifier.

Cape Verdes' form dipped after those results, losing 3-2 away to Togo in their final Africa Cup of Nations qualification match, 5-1 against Algeria and 2-1 against Comoros in back-to-back friendlies.

The Blue Sharks have lacked consistency during their last seven matches, winning two, losing three, and drawing two. They have found the back of the net eight times and conceded 11 goals at the back.

Cape Verde have been in excellent form at home, winning five of their last seven fixtures, including one loss and one draw. They have scored 11 goals and conceded five.

Cape Verde have lost three games on the trot; however, they have been playing well at home and will use their home-ground advantage to get the result over an Angola team struggling to win and lacking goals.

Angola have been struggling to win in recent outings but have been in better form when playing away from home; however, Angola will need to play well to get the three points, as Cape Verde have been winning regularly at their stadium.
