Ralf Rangnick’s side bounced back with a 3-1 win against Poland where they had 9-3 shots on target. Gernot Trauner opened the scoring, they went into the break level before second half goals to Christoph Baumgartner and Marko Arnautovic got it done.
Austria took the lead three times to beat Netherlands 3-2 and top Group D. They went ahead through an early own goal, Romano Schmid reestablishing the lead before Marcel Sabitzer made sure of it in the 81st minute.

Turkey started Euro 2024 with a 3-1 victory against Georgia. Mert Muldur opened the scoring, going into the second half level where Arda Güler scored a sensational goal followed by Kerem Akturkoglu netting deep into added time.
The Crescent-Stars suffered a humbling 3-0 defeat to Portugal after falling behind early on. Samet Akaydin’s own goal made it 2-0 at the break and they couldn’t find a way back.
Vincenzo Montella’s side had some luck in beating Czechia 2-1 in their final group game. Czechia were reduced to 10 men in the 20th minute, Hakan Çalhanoglu opening the scoring but needing a 93rd minute goal from Cenk Tosun to take all three points.

Centre-back Samet Akaydin and midfielder Hakan Çalhanoglu are suspended.
Abdulkerim Bardakci is available after a ban and should partner Merih Demiral at the back.
