  • Tottenham have seen over 2.5 goals in their last 5 EPL matches at home.

Head to Head

Man United have a 96-56 advantage against Tottenham in 203 meetings with 51 draws. There have been 14 total goals in the last three meetings.

Tottenham Form

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham are 14th in the Premier League after taking four points from eight games. Only bottom-side Southampton have a worse recent record than Spurs.

Tottenham lost four league games in a row, conceding nine and scoring five. Spurs ended this run of defeats with a 2-0 victory at Brentford, where they faced 1.66 XG and 20 shots.

The North Londoners couldn’t build on the Brentford win and lost their following two. A 4-0 EFL Cup defeat came first at Liverpool.

Spurs lost again on Sunday, as they fell to a 2-1 FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa. Tottenham were outplayed with 11-16 shots and conceded in each half before Mathys Tel scored a 91st-minute consolation.

Tottenham Injuries

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, defender Destiny Udogie and midfielder James Maddison are injury doubts.

Attacking pair Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson could also miss out due to injury.

Defenders Radu Dragusin, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are injured and won’t feature.

Midfielder Wilson Odobert and forwards Dominic Solanke and Richarlisonare also sidelined with injuries.

Man United Form

Man United are also in the Premier League’s bottom half and have notched seven points from eight games. United have conceded 15 goals during this patchy run.

The Red Devils showed glimpses of improving form with wins over Rangers 2-1, Fulham 1-0 and FCSB 2-0. Ruben Amorim’s side were unable to secure a fourth consecutive win and lost 2-0 at home against Crystal Palace.

United edged past Leicester in the FA Cup on Friday, coming back from a goal down to win 2-1. Amorim’s team had 4-3 shots on target, conceded first and late goals from Joshua Zirkzee and Harry Maguire sealed the victory.

Man United Injuries

Midfielder Mason Mount and goalkeeper Altay Bayindir are unavailable through injury.

Defensive trio Jonny Evans, Lisandro Martínez and Luke Shaw are also injured.

Verdict

Tottenham and Man United are lacking form and conceding tonnes of goals this season. Neither side is confident at the back and there is value on BTTS and over 2.5 goals in London.
