Spurs vs Leicester Tips - Spurs to coast to victory

Leicester on the hand have been awful and are rock bottom of the table with Brendan Rodgers job hanging by a thread.

The teams have locked horns 94 times with Spurs holding a 45-33 lead and 16 draws between them.

The last meeting between resulted in a 3-1 home win for Spurs.

Conte’s men are currently third on the table with four wins and two draws from their six matches. They have conceded only five goals and have been lethal with their created chances. Conte’s men will perhaps start believing of an outside chance to challenge for the title at the moment.

Recent displays include a 1-1 away draw at West Ham and then a 2-1 home win against Fulham. They played to a 2-0 home win against Marseille in the Champions League subsequently.

The last match played was a 2-0 away loss to Benfica in the Champions League. Tottenham struggled to get any sort of rhythm in the match and paid the ultimate price with two extremely late goals. They were poor on the night and events leading up to the fixture were not in their favour in terms of the confirmation of the match going ahead.

Midfielder Lucas Moura is out injured and will miss the match. After the midweek clash that resulted in a loss we would not be surprised to see Conte tinker with his team.

The Foxes could not have asked for a worse start and have seen their depleted squad lose five and draw one of their matches so far. Brendan Rodgers is hanging on by a thread and this will be a tough fixture to overcome as the Foxes have been leaking goals.

A 0-0 away draw at Stockport County in the Carabao Cup was followed by a 2-1 loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They subsequently lost 1-0 at home to Manchester United.

City currently have defenders Ryan Bertrand and Ricardo Pereira out though injury. Leicester are badly out of form and we will expect a more defensive minded team for the away trip.
