Martinez and Lindelof Suffer Injury Blows
Manchester United centre backs Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof will be out for a month with injuries. The latter picked up a hamstring strain in Saturday’s disappointing 1-1 draw at Brentford.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old Martinez has played just 11 matches all season having suffered a footy injury in September and then a knee injury a month later.
With at least seven weeks left of this season, both players are expected to return to action in May.
Ten Hag Must Find a Back Four for Thursday
Those two new blows will present a major headache to coach Erik Ten Hag. Harry Maguire was doubtful going into the match vs Brentford and had to replace Raphael Varane at the interval.
Ten Hag said in his pre-match press conference: “In the backline we have a lack of options.
“But the good thing is back in training this afternoon is Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans. Yesterday, Harry Maguire was back in training.”
That will give the coach two starters and one substitute against the Blues at Stamford Bridge. With Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia out injured at left back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka will deputise in that position.
Man Utd have allowed an incredible 222 shots in their last 10 fixtures, including 31 attempts in their last match at Brentford.
Man Utd to have Injury Inquest
After a season riddled with injury problems in every position, Erik Ten Hag promised to look into the issue.
The Dutch coach would not specify the potential reasons but he did not include himself as being part of the cause: “We have an idea (about the cause of the muscle injuries) but we will work on it
“Internally, we will deal with it.”
“You can’t prevent. It’s not only us who’ve had this — the standards of the Premier League from an intensity perspective are so high, the overload of the schedule, we have internationals in our squad. City, Liverpool and Newcastle have problems, many other teams.”
Man Utd travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Thursday. Kickoff is at 7.30 pm BST.
