Brentford Form

Brentford have dropped down to 12th in the Premier League after taking just one point from their last three.

The Bees are also in unconvincing long-term form, with one win in six in all competitions and 12 goals conceded. Brentford lost three in a row against Chelsea 2-1, Newcastle 3-1 and Nottingham Forest 2-0.

Thomas Frank’s side ended their run of defeats with a 0-0 draw at Brighton on Friday, The West London side faced 24 shots, allowed 1.34 XG and held on for a point at the Amex.

Brentford Injuries

Defenders Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Ben Mee, Ethan Pinnock, Kristoffer Ajer and Sepp van den Berg are injured.

Midfielders Josh Dasilva and Mathias Jensen are sidelined with injuries.

Forward pair Igor Thiago and Gustavo Nunes are also ruled out due to injury.

Arsenal Form

Arsenal remain in the title race after going unbeaten in eight consecutive Premier League games, winning five. Mikel Arteta’s side haven’t lost since early November and have scored 29 goals their last 11.

The Gunners are on a three-match winning streak with nine goals scored. Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 3-2 in the EFL Cup and 5-1 away in the Premier League.

The North London side followed the two Palace wins with a comfortable 1-0 home victory over Ipswich. Kai Havertz struck the winner after 22 minutes as Arsenal dominated with 2.16-0.08 XG.

Arsenal Injuries

Forward duo Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling are injured and won’t make the squad.

Defenders Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu have long-term injuries and are unavailable.

Verdict

Brentford have been second-best against some of the top Premier League sides recently. The leaky Bees are unlikely to end their winless run against in-form Arsenal.
