Exeter Form

Exeter started their 2024/25 FA Cup run with a 5-3 win against Barnet in November. They followed that result with home victories against Chesterfield 2-0 and Oxford 3-1.

The Grecians haven’t won since beating Oxford and have lost four of their previous five games. Exeter are on a three-match losing streak, including big home losses to Blackpool 3-1 and Leyton Orient 6-2.

Gary Caldwell’s team fell to another defeat and were thrashed 4-1 at Stevenage. Josh Magennis scored in the second minute before Exeter faced 15 shots and conceded four goals.

Exeter Injuries & Team News

Exeter have no injuries or suspensions.

Striker Josh Magennis has scored four goals in three FA Cup appearances this season.

Nottingham Forest Form

Nottingham Forest beat Championship side Luton 1-0 to reach the FA Cup fourth round. That victory capped Forest’s seven-match winning run from December to January.

The Reds continued the strong form in their following matches, drawing 1-1 with Liverpool and beating Southampton 3-2. Forest then suffered just their sixth defeat of the season, losing 5-0 at Bournemouth.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side hit back with a 7-0 win at home against Brighton. Chris Wood scored a hat-trick and Morgan Gibbs-White, Neco Williams and Jota Silva also hit the net.

Nottingham Forest Injuries & Team News

Midfielder Callum Hudson-Odoi is injured and set to miss out on Tuesday.

Taiwo Awoniyi is expected to start up front. He came in for first-choice striker Chris Wood in the previous round of the FA Cup.

Verdict

Exeter are unlikely to pose too much of a threat to in-form Nottingham Forest. The Reds score goals and can notch a win with over 2.5 goals in the FA Cup.
