Neither side was very impressive in their opening fixtures, but Zambia do have plenty of quality. I am backing the Zambians to win to nil.

Zambia arrived at AFCON as possible dark horses for the tournament. Their form leading up to it was reasonably good and included victories over Uganda, Congo and a draw against Cameroon.

In their opening AFCON game, Zambia however didn’t pitch up. They were very lucky to get a 1-1 draw against Congo DR after Kings Kangwa gave them a 23rd minute lead.

That said, the goal came from Zambia’s only shot on target in the 90 minutes, they also only had two other shots compared to the 25 of Congo DR.

Zambia were outplayed in their last game, so I expect a few changes.

Tanzania Form

Tanzania were struggling for form ahead of AFCON and they clearly haven’t sorted their issues out as yet. They have failed to score in their last three games.

In their AFCON opener, Tanzania suffered a 3-0 loss to Morocco. They only managed two shots in the entire game and none on target.

In the 70th minute, while 1-0 down, Novatus Miroshi was sent off which allowed Morocco the space to score twice in the final 20 minutes.

Novatus Miroshi will miss this match through suspension after his red card. There should however be a few more changes.
