In their opening clash against Congo DR, Zambia were poor but still managed a 1-1 draw. They would have fancied themselves to win against Tanzania in their second game, but again, they were fortunate to come away with a point.

Tanzania took an 11th minute lead before Roderick Kabwe was sent off in the 44th minute. This left Zambia a man and a goal down going into the break. Patson Daka rescued the situation in the 88th minute to force a draw but now Zambia have a very tough assignment against Morocco.

Against Tanzania in their opener, Morocco cruised to a 3-0 victory before having to settle for a 1-1 draw against a spirited Congo DR side.

Achraf Hakimi gave Morocco an early lead, but they couldn’t add to that. Congo DR leveled the game back up in the 76th minute.
