Burundi have nothing other than pride to play for on Tuesday against Senegal. They have four points from five matches and can no longer qualify for AFCON.
The group stage started well enough for Burundi as they beat Malawi 3-2 away from home. They then lost 1-0 to Senegal at home and 4-1 in Burkina Faso. A few days later, Burundi lost 2-0 at home to the same opposition.
Last week, Burundi drew 0-0 at home to Malawi. It was a game they would have fancied winning after beating the Malawians away earlier in the campaign.

Burundi will want to end off the campaign with a big result but away from home against Senegal will be tough. I don’t expect many changes from the Burundi side that featured last week.
