They face log leaders Uganda away on 15 November before hosting bottom-placed South Sudan in Cape Town.
Notable Absences
Among the high-profile players excluded are Mamelodi Sundowns centre back, Grant Kekana and Al Ahly attacker, Percy Tau.
Last season’s Golden Boot winner, Tshegofatso Mabasa continues to be ignored. Key attackers Themba Zwane and Lyle Foster are out injured.
Goalkeeper Sage Stephens has received his first call-up in goal due to an injury to Ricardo Goss. Siyabonga Ngezana returns from injury in defence and Mothobi Mvala is also recalled now that he is fully fit.
Percy Tau Absence Explained
The Belgian coach explained the absence of high-profile winger, Percy Tau. He has lost his place in the squad having been a starter at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
Broos said: “You know Percy Tau doesn’t play anymore. For the moment, he is always on the bench,”
“So, I said already two months ago the environment for him in Al Ahly is not positive. So, at the moment, they wanted to sell him then he wasn’t sold.
“I don’t think that it’s now the right moment for Percy to come and be with Bafana Bafana but that doesn’t mean that he will never come again.
“I hope, really hope, that he can change clubs. Then he will be again a very important player for Bafana Bafana.”
