This is simply a game Ghana cannot afford to lose, or perhaps even to draw. Given how strong their squad is, it is highly likely that the strongest possible side will feature.

Sudan currently sit above Ghana in the group and should they avoid defeat in this game, they have a good chance of keeping a top two spot over the last three rounds.

The form of Sudan in 2024 cannot be questioned. They may not be a side filled with household names, but they have produced the goods this year.

Sudan have won four of their last six matches and kept a clean sheet in their last three wins. They did lose their last match 2-1 in Angola but won the opening AFCON qualifier 1-0 against Niger.
