Madagascar have a commanding lead of nine victories to none over Comoros, including two draws in 11 meetings across all competitions.

Comoros Form

Comoros defeated the Gambia 2-1 last weekend to secure their spot in the upcoming AFCON finals.

The Gambia dominated proceedings, taking the lead after 18 minutes of play before Comoros levelled matters seven minutes later.

The Gambia continued to press for a goal in the second half but could not find an opening before Comoros grabbed the winner on the stroke of full-time.

Before that performance, Comoros played Tunisia in two qualification matches, winning 1-0 and drawing 1-1.

The Coelacanths have won two of their last five fixtures, including three draws. They scored six goals and conceded four.

Comoros have been in solid form lately and have yet to lose during their qualifying campaign; however, they have never tasted victory against Madagascar.

Madagascar Form

Madagascar conceded in the sixth minute of the match before a Tunisia player scored an own goal 14 minutes later.

Madagascar conceded for the second time after 39 minutes of play before equalising in their third minute of stoppage time.

Bareas were on course to earn a point for their efforts before Tunisia scored the winning goal in the third minute of second-half stoppage time.

Before that result, Madagascar faced the Gambia in two qualifiers in October, drawing 1-1 and losing 1-0.

Bareas have lost three of their last five fixtures, including two draws. They scored four goals and conceded seven.

Madagascar have had a forgetful Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign but boast a superior record over Comoros, giving them the belief they can end their final match on a high.
