Cameroon vs Kenya Predictions
Cameroon are favourites on home soil despite putting in two poor performances in their last two fixtures. However, the hosts have a far superior squad to Kenya, so I’m backing a win to nil.

Head to Head
These two sides last met in 2010; a match Cameroon won 3-1 away from home.
Cameroon Form
After two games in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign, Cameroon are placed second on the table on goal difference behind Kenya.
The Indomitable Lions won their opener, beating Namibia 1-0 at home. While the Namibian side put in a strong defensive shift, it was a game Cameroon would have expected to win with more comfort.
Their struggles continued a few days later in their second game as they could only manage a 0-0 draw in Zimbabwe. Neither result should hamper Cameroon from qualifying, but the performances will be of concern.
Cameroon Injuries & Team News
Cameroon have most of their international players available for this international week. Expect them to be close to full strength.
Kenya Form
Kenya are not usually among the top nations on the African continent but they have been handed a group which they will fancy. After two games, they are top with the same record as Cameroon – one win, one draw.
In their opener AFCON qualifier, Kenya could only draw 0-0 at home against Zimbabwe, a game they will feel they should have won. They did bounce back to beat Namibia 2-1 away from home a few days later.
Kenya Injuries & Team News
John Avire and Duke Abuya were the goal scorers for Kenya in their last fixture. They will once again be expected to play a key role in Cameroon.
Verdict
Cameroon are tipped to win to nil with 2-0 being the predicted outcome.
