Ten New Players Added

Coach Hugo Broos has made ten changes to his squad from the last round of qualifiers in September, where South Africa drew 2-2 vs Uganda and beat South Sudan 3-2 away.

Ronwen Williams is back in goal and will start. Veli Mothwa made a howler in goal in the damaging home draw vs Uganda.

Thabiso Sesane has been called up for the first time after his strong form for Pirates. Bradley Cross is back in the squad to compete for the role of Aubrey Modiba’s understudy at left back.

Bathusi Aubaas, Sinoxolo Kwayiba and Sweden-based Luke Le Roux are selected as fresh options in midfield are an injury to Sphephelo Sithole required surgery.

In attack, Devon Titus, Percy Tau and Mihlali Mayambela boost the wide areas. Tshegofatso Mabasa is finally recalled after winning the PSL Golden Boot last season. Hugo Broos has ignored him for recent FIFA breaks.

The squad is set to be cut down to 23 players in the week leading up to the qualifiers.
