Toulouse vs Oyonnax Predictions - Oyonnax can get close against Toulouse in Top 14

I am backing the visitors to get inside 18 points this Saturday.

Toulouse beat Oyonnax 27-21 away from home earlier this season.

Toulouse are the defending champions of the Top 14 and currently sit second on the table. They have nine wins in 14 games and are level on points with Stade Francais at the top.

Since losing 29-8 to La Rochelle away at the end of December 2023, Toulouse have won five games on the bounce in all competitions. They beat Lyon 45-0 before seeing off Ulster 48-24 away. That was followed by a home win over Bath int eh Champions Cup before a 27-20 victory over Racing 92 in the Top 14.

Toulouse won their last game 46-26 at home to Bayonne in early February.

Toulouse are missing pretty much their entire first-choice squad to the Six Nations. They do however have very capable players remaining so they should still be good enough.

Oyonnax are second from bottom on the Top 14 table. They are two points clear of Montpellier with 22 points and five wins in 14 games.

Over their last four games, Oyonnax have won just one game and lost three. They lost in the Challenge Cup to the Sharks in Durban, then beat the Cheetahs at home by a point in the same competition.

Oyonnax suffered a 21-17 defeat to Bayonne away in the Top 14 at the end of January before starting February with a 23-19 defeat to Stade Francais.

With no international players, Oyonnax should be at full-strength this weekend.
