That was followed by a rout over Chile where England played some fine rugby. With the top spot confirmed, England will go into this fixture hoping to fix a few areas of their game ahead of the quarter-finals.

I expect England to rest a few players for this match but still pick a strong side. Owen Farrell could be given another run at flyhalf for example as it seems between him and Ford who will take the 10 jumper.

Samoa Form

Samoa can no longer qualify for the quarters but still have plenty of pride to play for. The World Cup has not gone according to plan for them as big things were expected coming into the tournament.

Samoa won their opener against Chile, picking up a bonus point along the way. They however then lost 19-10 to Argentina and 28-22 to Japan in their last outing.

The fixture against Japan should however have been vastly different. Samoa dominated large parts of the game, including possession but failed to take their opportunities.
