These sides have not met since 2017. On that occasion, Georgia won a tight encounter 21-20.

Georgia are considered the strongest Tier Two rugby nation currently and for good reason. There has also been a push for them to join the tier-one ranks in recent years.
Last week Georgia thrashed Romania 56-6 on home soil. The USA, their opponents this week, have not qualified for the World Cup but should provide a sterner test.

USA quite disappointingly didn’t qualify for the 2023 Rugby World Cup after narrowly losing out to Chile in qualifying.
These warm-up games provide them the opportunity to get some youngsters involved with little pressure for results. The USA defeated Romania a couple of weeks ago although they suffered a 46-20 loss to Portugal last weekend.
