France vs Fiji Preview
France are not likely to field a full-strength side so this should bring Fiji into the game. That along with Fiji’s very strong form makes this a match to watch out for. I’m backing Fiji to get within the 17-point handicap.

Head to Head
France won their last match 28-0 against Fiji in 2020.
France Form
France come into this match off the back of a closely-fought win over Scotland last week. The week prior they lost to the same opposition.
For the last few years, France have looked like the side to beat leading up to the Rugby World Cup. Their most recent performances, however, will be a slight concern.
A fortnight ago France lost narrowly at Murrayfield to Scotland but they did not field anywhere near their strongest side. The performance was very good considering that. However, last week, France only just managed to overcome Scotland at home with their strongest side.
France Injuries & Team News
France are likely to rest all of their top players for this fixture. Romain Ntamack has been ruled out of the World Cup after picking up an injury last week, and France will want to avoid any further injuries.
Fiji Form
Fiji are in a very good place at the moment in terms of performances and results. They are expected to produce big things at the World Cup later this year.
The difference with Fiji is that they are starting to show some consistency, which likely has plenty to do with their cohesion at Fijian Drua in Super Rugby.
Over the last month or so Fiji have won all three of their warm-up matches, defeating Japan, Samoa and Tonga reasonably comfortably.
Fiji Injuries & Team News
Fiji will give their fringe players a run at some point, but I expect them to be close to full strength for this encounter.
Verdict
Fiji are tipped to cover the +17 handicap against France in this Rugby World Cup warm-up encounter.
