Rugby World Cup Record
Argentina and France have met on four occasions at the Rugby World Cup. The first meeting at the World Cup took place in 1999 where France won an exciting contest 47-26 at Lansdowne Road in Ireland.
At the 2007 Rugby World Cup played in France, they met twice – in the opening game of the tournament and in third place playoff. Argentina won on both occasions in front of the partisan French crowd.
In the 2019 Rugby World Cup group stage, these two produced a classic, a match France narrowly won 23-21.
2024 Argentina vs France Fixtures
