France are favourites at home, but Argentina arrives in Paris in good form. The one concern about Los Pumas is their consistency, but they will be desperate to end the year on a high.

France have won five of their last six matches against Argentina. In July 2024, these two met in a two-match series in Argentina which resulted in a 1-1 draw. Argentina won the final match 33-25, but France did send a side without their star players.
France Form
France come into the final game of the year full of confidence after a successful Autumn Nations Cup to date. They thrashed Japan and last week beat New Zealand at home.
While the victory over Japan was expected, beating the in-form All Blacks was never a guarantee. It was a cracking fixture throughout with both sides dominating periods of play.
In the end, France showed just enough to win 30-29. This week they come up against another in-form side. Argentina have had a great year to date and will want to end on a high.
France Injuries & Team News
France are likely to make a few changes to their side this weekend after picking a strong side in the last two weeks. This will no doubt be another very good side, but I do expect two or three changes.
Argentina Form
Argentina have been nothing short of superb in 2024 and it is arguably their most successful year in recent memory.
The Los Pumas finished third in the Rugby Championship but for the first time ever, beat New Zealand, South Africa and Australia in the same year. In the mid-year July series at home, they drew 1-1 against France, albeit a weakened French side.
In their first game this November, Argentina put up a very strong performance in Italy, thrashing the hosts 50-18. Last week, against the then World No.1 side, Los Pumas came within meters of winning in Dublin, going down 22-19 at the end.
Argentina Injuries & Team News
Felipe Conteponi has made one change to the starting lineup for Friday night's match. Gonzalo Garcia starts at scrumhalf while Conzalo Bertranou drops out of the squad completely. Lautaro Bazan Velez is on the bench.
In other big news, Los Pumas stars Marcos Kremer and Mateo Carreras return to the squad for this fixture after missing the first two games through injury.
