Brazil and Belgium have never met in a Rugby Union match.

Hong Kong were big favourites going into that match, but Brazil more than held their own. A poor error right at the end cost the South Americans a famous win.

Still, Brazil will take a lot of confidence from that 26-25 defeat. Belgium will be a sterner test but on home soil, the flamboyant Brazilians are sure to give it a good shot.

Brazil won’t want to tinker too much with their side, this is a great opportunity to play a European side at full strength.

Belgium are expected to win this game as they continue to prepare for World Cup qualifiers.

Two weeks ago, Belgium lost 33-5 in Chile, not a particularly good result, but Chile did qualify for the World Cup last year, so they were expected to beat Belgium.

Last week, Belgium were in good form despite a slow start against Paraguay. Three second half tries helped Belgium take a 45-20 victory where their backline showed great promise and the maul also contributed two tries.

Belgium are unlikely to make too many changes to their side from last weekend. Paul Gerard was really good in the loose trip while Matias Remue looked solid at flyhalf.
