Australia vs South Africa Preview
South Africa may have made 10 changes to their side from last weekend, but they still have numerous World Cup winners in the squad. The hosts may get off to a bright start, but over 80 minutes the -12 handicap is in play for the visitors.

Head to Head
South Africa have won their last three matches against the Wallabies and their last two away from home. Last week the Springboks won 37-7 at the Suncorp Stadium.
Australia Form
After two victories over Wales and a win against Georgia in July, Australia would have been quietly confident heading into the match against the Springboks last weekend.
The Wallabies, however, got a big taste of reality as they came crashing down to earth. From the first minute the South African’s dominated the fixture at the Suncorp Stadium.
The 37-7 scoreline does not tell the full story, it could easily have been much worse for the hosts. The positive will be their fight on defence and the side never dropped their heads against a clearly superior side.
This weekend, the Aussies will have to put a better performance in at scrum-time. They were atrocious last weekend, conceding one penalty after the other.
Australia Injuries & Team News
There are a number of injury concerns for Australia. We will almost certainly see four or five changes at the least.
South Africa Form
South Africa have continued their superb form having won 12 of their last 14 matches. The two defeats in that span both came against Ireland.
On Saturday past, the Springboks were superb in almost every facet of play. Their biggest disappointment will be not putting more than the 37 points on Australia, such was their dominance in the game.
While South Africa have a poor record in Australia, they will be confident of taking another victory this weekend. They may even get another bonus point.
South Africa Injuries & Team News
Rassie Erasmus has rung the changes, making 10 to the starting lineup. While this would have been discussed before the tournament began, it is still a risk against an Aussie side desperate to make an impact.
That said, there are still 14 World Cup winners in the squad, including the entire bench.
Verdict
I am backing the Springboks to cover the -12 handicap despite the 10 changes made to their side.
