This should be an almighty clash between two in-form sides. The Sharks however struggled in Europe early in the season and although they are vastly improved, the hosts will be confident they can pull it off. My best bet is for the Sharks to cover +8 in the handicap market.

Earlier this season Ulster were the team to beat but their form has dropped off a bit. They are still very strong at home and should be confident against the Sharks.

Ulster have not played for almost three weeks, beating Edinburgh 16-10 in their last match at the end of April. Before that Ulster lost at home to Munster and at home to Toulouse in the Champions Cup.

Ulster will be at full strength with no fresh injury concerns. It is a must-win clash on home soil if they want to climb the table.

Sharks Form

The Sharks are in a touch position currently. They are third on the table, level on points with Munster in second. Should Munster lose the Sharks could finish second, but defeat for the Sharks could see them dropp all the way down to sixth.

This is a massively tough away match to end the round robin season but the Sharks are in good form. They have won seven of their last eight matches with the one blip coming at home to Edinburgh.

Last time out the Sharks beat Connacht 41-21 at home at the end of April.

The Sharks have traveled with a full strength side packed with international players. Regardless of the side they pick on the night they will have a very strong 23-man squad at the Kingspan.
