Recent form includes a 22-22 draw at Leinster which preceded a 32-28 win at home against Harlequins in the Champions Cup. The Cape Side would lose away at Exeter by 42-17 subsequently.

The most recent result was a 26-24 home loss against Munster. The Stormers were favourites but were outplayed with Munster’s intensity and desperation especially in the forwards area. Munster dominated the forward play which set the base for a magnificent win.

Captain Deon Fourie will miss the match as we expect the same matchday squad from the previous match to be available.

Benetton Form and News

The Italian outfit have eight wins from seventeen matches as they find themselves in ninth place on the table. The chances of qualifying for the playoffs are extremely slim after losing last week.

A 32-28 loss at home to the Lions was followed by a 41-19 home win over Connacht. Benetton would then go on to beat Cardiff by 27-23 in the Challenge Cup next.

They lost the Sharks in Durban by 43-33 in their last match. Benetton surged to a 14-point lead that caught the Sharks off guard in the first seven minutes. The pressure from the home side took its toll as the Sharks dominated the second half in a very entertaining game of running rugby by both sides.
