Sharks vs Zebre Predictions
Zebre have won their last three games while the Sharks have won three of their last four. However, in Durban, I expect the Sharks to cruise to victory by covering the 22.5 handicap.

Head to Head
Sharks and Zebre met twice last season with Zebre winning 12-10 in Italy and the Sharks 47-3 in Durban in April 2024.
Sharks Form
The Sharks are enjoying a good season in the URC with eight wins and four defeats in 12 matches. They are fourth on the table with 39 points, two behind the Bulls in third.
While the United Rugby Championship took a break for the Six Nations, South African sides played a few catch-up games in this period. After beating Cardiff at the end of January 42-22 away from home, the Sharks beat the Bulls 29-19 in mid-February.
However, the Lions were too good at the start of March, thrashing the Sharks 38-14 in Johannesburg. The Durban-based outfit did bounce back a week later to beat the Lions 25-22 at home.
Sharks Injuries & Team News
Siya Kolisi is back to lead the Sharks this weekend with quite a few internationals named in the Sharks squad. Eben Etzebeth is, however, out with an injury.
Zebre Form
Zebre are once again battling near the bottom of the table, but they are pretty safe from finishing at the bottom considering their gap to last place. However, the Italian side has won five games this season of the 12 played, which is far better than they’ve achieved in recent seasons.
In fact, Zebre are on a three-match winning streak coming into this game, although their last game was on 28 February. They beat Edinburgh 22-17 away from home before seeing off the Dragons 31-21 at home.
Prior to those victories, Zebre beat Ulster away from home 15-14 in another huge upset.
Zebre Injuries & Team News
Zebre have put in some good performances of late and are unlikely to make too many changes.
Verdict
Sharks are backed to cover the -22.5 handicap against Zebre.
