The Scarlets came from behind against the Bulls to secure a narrow 23-22 win at home last weekend. 

The Scarlets trailed 19-7 at the break but quickly reduced the definite by kicking over a penalty and scoring a try at the start of the second half. 

The Bulls were reduced to 14 men after a player was sent off in the 67th minute of the match, opening the door for the Scarlets to score the winning try four minutes later. 

Before that victory, the Scarlets had lost their opening two URC home matches this season, going down 24-15 against Cardiff and 24-23 against Connacht. 

The Scarlets are 10th on the log with 11 points from five fixtures.

The Llanelli Scarlets have a one hundred per cent winning record against Zebre at home, giving them the advantage to record another victory over their opponents this weekend.

Ryan Elias, Kemsley Mathias, Taine Plumtree, Henry Thomas, Blair Murray, Tom Rogers, and Sam Costelow have been included in the 35-man Welsh training squad for the forthcoming Autumn Nations Series.

Zebre Parma Form


Zebre Parma came up short against the Lions at home last weekend, losing 10-9 in tough playing conditions.

Zebre kicked over two penalties to lead 6-0 after 21 minutes of play before the Lions scored a converted try seven minutes later to edge ahead 7-6.

The Lions slotted over a penalty two minutes in the second half before Zebre reduced the definite back to one point from a penalty kick four minutes later. 

Zebre have been defeated in both their away games this season, losing 33-3 against Glasgow and 22-17 against Cardiff. 

Zebre are 15th in the URC standings with seven points from five matches. 

Zebre Parma have a mountain to climb to come away with the win, as they have lost three consecutive fixtures and have yet to beat the Scarlets in 17 attempts.
