Head to Head
Ulster beat Leinster by two points at home this season. However, at Leinster the task will be that much tougher.
Leinster Form
Leinster finished third on the URC table after a poor end to their campaign. This was mostly due to them resting key players for the Champions Cup final.
Over their last seven games, Leinster have lost four and won just three. They sent a second-string squad to South Africa where both the Lions and Stormers thrashed them.
They returned to win the Champions Cup semi-final 20-17 at home against Northampton and backed it up with a 61-14 success against Ospreys. However, Leinster then lost 23-21 at Ulster and suffered a third successive Champions Cup final loss to Toulouse.
Last week, the Irish giants bounced back with a 33-7 win at home over Connacht.
Leinster Injuries & News
With the URC being the last thing on the line, Leinster will go into this clash at full strength.
Ulster Form
Ulster have certainly not been at their best this season, finishing sixth on the table with 11 victories and seven defeats.
It is away from home where Ulster have struggled somewhat, but they do have the players to produce big one-off performances. Over the last few weeks, Ulster have beaten Cardiff and Benetton at home and then traveled to Scarlets for a 31-20 win.
Another victory followed on home soil as Ulster beat Leinster, their quarter-final opponents, 23-21. Last week, Ulster lost 29-24 at Munster.
Ulster Injuries & News
Ulster have selected a strong side with a few changes from last weekend.
Verdict
Ulster are backed to get within 16 points of Leinster in the URC quarter-final.
