Newcastle vs Leicester Predictions - Tigers to condemn Falcons to another loss

Leicester have a commanding lead of 24 wins to six over Newcastle in 30 meetings. 

The Newcastle Falcons succumbed to their 23rd consecutive loss in the Premiership last weekend, losing 28-14 against the Harlequins away from home last weekend. 

Newcastle got off to their perfect start against the Harlequins, scoring a converted try after five minutes of play before their opponents ran in three unanswered converted tries to go into the break with a 21-7 lead.

Newcastle conceded another converted try just after the restart before scoring their second converted try in the 65th minute of the match.

Before that performance, Newcastle lost against the Bristol Bears, going down by 24 points to three. 

The Newcastle Falcons must use the advantage of playing at home to get the result against the Leicester Tigers; however, their opponents have won the previous three clashes. 

Kieran Wilkinson (knee), Cameron Neild (arm), and Eduardo Bello (knee) have long-term injuries and will not feature for some months. 

Lock John Hawkins scored a try in the fourth minute of the first half against the Harlequins.

Replacement Ben Redshaw scored a try in the second half.

Fly-half Ethan Grayson scored two conversions in the match. 

The Leicester Tigers picked up their first defeat of the season when they lost 20-15 against Bath at home last weekend. 

Leicester scored a try and conversion in the 34th minute of the match to go into halftime, leading by ten points to five against Bath. 

Bath levelled matters with a try six minutes into the second half before scoring a converted try 17 minutes later to move seven points clear of the Tigers, increasing it to ten from a penalty kick six minutes from time.

Leicester breached the Bath defence with a try after 78 minutes of play to close the gap to five points before missing the conversion kick.

Before that loss, the Tigers secured a 17-14 victory over the Exeter Chiefs away from home. 

The Leicester Tigers will fancy their chances to redeem themselves after their recent loss, as Newcastle are on a losing streak, and they have won three consecutive times against their opponents. 

Springbok Handre Pollard and Argentine captain Julian Montoya return to the squad after competing in the recent Rugby Championship.

Srcum-half Jack van Poortvliet scored a first-half try against Bath.

Jamie Shillcock scored a penalty and a conversion in the match.

Replacement James Cronin scored a try towards the end of the game against Bath.
