Head to Head

Saracens have the advantage with 21 victories to 12 against the Exeter Chiefs, including one draw in 34 meetings.

Exeter Form

Exeter suffered heavy losses in their recent Investec Champions Cup fixtures, losing 69-17 against Bordeaux at home and 52-24 against Ulster away, ending their chances of advancing further in the competition.

Exeter had no answer in their opening three home fixtures this season, losing 17-14 against the Leicester Tigers, 40-35 against the Bristol Bears, and 36-19 against the Harlequins before defeating Gloucester 22-15.

Exeter are 9th in the league table with ten points from ten matches.

The Exeter Chiefs have had some success against Saracens at home lately but have had a woeful campaign thus far. Can they win back-to-back home league games for the first time this season?

Exeter Team News & Injuries

Henry Slade has been included in the England squad for the upcoming Six Nations.

Saracens Form

Saracens lost their recent Investec Champions Cup group-stage matches, going down 17-12 against Munster away and 32-24 against Castres at home, but they still qualified for the next round.

Saracens have had mixed results playing away from home in the Premiership this season, beating Gloucester 35-26, losing 17-10 against the Harlequins, defeating Bristol 37-25, and losing 17-12 against Newcastle, and 68-10 against Bath.

Saracens are 3rd in the standings with 34 points from ten matches.

Saracens have had a solid campaign thus far, although their away form has been patchy; however, they will fancy their chances against an Exeter side that often loses.

Saracens Team News & Injuries

Jamie George is out with a hamstring injury.

Theo Dan, Ben Earl, Maro Itoje, Tom Willis, and Elliot Daly are in the England squad for the Six Nations.

Verdict

Saracens have been in better overall form than Exeter and are tipped to cover the -3.5 handicap.
