Bath vs Bristol Preview
Bath have made a great start to the season and will look to build on that at home. I fancy them to cover the -9 handicap.

Head to Head
Bristol beat Bath on three occasions last year, two of which were in the Premiership. Both games were very tight though with a two-point margin.
Bath Form
Bath have made a strong start to their season with three wins from their opening five games. They are currently third on the table, just two points off top.
In the opening two rounds, Bath came flying out of the blocks, beating Newcastle at home and Saracens away. They then lost 25-24 to Leicester at home and 24-18 at Northampton.
Last week Bath ended that two-match losing streak with a stunning 45-27 win away against Gloucester. It was a superb performance against their arch-rivals and one they will want to replicate on Friday.
Bath Injuries & Team News
Bath are playing some good rugby at the moment. It is unlikely that they will tinker with their side too much.
Bristol Form
Bristol have made a decent start to their season but still only have two wins from their five games. They are seventh on the table.
The Bears made a flying start, beating Leicester 25-14 at home in round one before causing an upset in Northampton, winning 33-27. Unfortunately, they have lost three matches since those two wins.
Bristol went down 23-21 at home to Harlequins before a trip to Exeter ended in a 29-20 defeat. Last week Sale beat Bristol 27-13 on the Bears home patch.
Bristol Injuries & Team News
With three defeats in a row, we could see the Bears making a few changes this weekend.
Verdict
I am backing Bath to cover the -9 handicap on home soil.
