Both sides have been good this season overall but have struggled in recent weeks. Connacht have lost their last three games while Saracens are on a two-match losing streak.

These two have not met since 2014. On that occasion, Saracens won 64-6 at home.

Saracens Form

Saracens have enjoyed a solid season to date but have yet to reach their best form. Much of their inconsistency can be put down to many international players missing for a few weeks after the World Cup.

However, all their players have been back for a few weeks now so their form should start picking up. They have, however, lost their last two matches.

In their last Premiership game, Saracens went down 18-12 at home to Northampton. Last week, in their Champions Cup opener, Sarries lost 27-16 to the Bulls at Loftus.

Having lost their opening Champions Cup fixture, Saracens will want to put a marker down on home soil. They should be at full strength.

Connacht Form

Connacht have been very good this season in the URC. They have made a strong start although which has included some impressive victories over Ulster and away against the Sharks.

The Irish side did however lose their last two URC games against the Bulls in Pretoria and at home to Leinster. Those were always going to be very tough games though, so Connacht won’t be too concerned.

Last week Connacht put in a pretty shocking performance at home in their Champions Cup opener. They lost 41-5 to Bordeaux with the home crowd left relatively stunned.

Expect a number of changes to the Connacht side that featured against Bordeaux last weekend. It was a very poor performance and one they will want to rectify this Saturday.
