The Sale Sharks have been nowhere near their best this season and their struggles continued last week into the Champions Cup.

Currently, Sale have won four of their seven Premiership games and sit sixth on the table. Since the international window closed, the Sharks won at home in the Premiership against Leicester Tigers but suffered defeat at Glasgow last weekend.

It was largely expected to be a tough battle in Glasgow, but Sale just wasn’t at the races, clearly prioritizing their home games. They lost 38-19.

Home form is key in the Champions Cup and for that reason I believe Sale will make a few changes this weekend. A return to their strongest side seems inevitable.

Racing 92 Form

Racing 92 have been inconsistent in 2024 and currently find themselves eighth on the Top 14 table. They’ve won five and lost six of their 11 games.

At the start of November, Racing beat Pau 33-23 away from home before losing 40-24 at Stade Francais and going 21-17 at home to Toulouse.

Last week, however, Racing 92 found some form again, beating Harlequins 23-12 at home in their opening Champions Cup fixture.
