  • Pau have won 3 of their last 5 fixtures in the Top 14.
  • Pau have won 4 of their last 5 home games in all competitions.
  • Bath have won 3 of their last 5 away matches in all competitions.

Head to Head

Bath have the advantage with two victories to none over Pau in two meetings.

Pau Form

Pau were in decent nick during their EPCR Challenge Cup Pool 2 fixtures. They beat Newcastle 32-19 at home, lost 43-35 to Pau, and defeated the Dragons 24-15 away from home before losing 31-28 to the Ospreys at home.

Pau have played three Top 14 matches since that defeat. They beat Clermont 20-14, Perpignan 23-6, and Montpellier 40-38

Pau have been playing well at home lately, giving them the belief they can secure victory over Bath and progress to the next round of the European Challenge Cup.

Pau Team News & Injuries

Axel Desperes has scored 52 points from the boot in this season's EPCR Challenge Cup.

Daniel Jooste and Eliott Roudil have scored two tries in the competition thus far.

Bath Form

Bath did not fare well in their European Rugby Cup group-stage campaign. They lost 24-20 to La Rochelle at home, 22-21 to Benetton away, and beat Clermont 40-21 at home before losing 47-21 to Leinster away.

Bath have played four away games since those results. They beat the Sale Sharks 32-23 in the Premiership and lost 40-21 to Bristol in the Premiership Rugby Cup before defeating Newcastle 41-29 and Exeter 48-14 in the final.

Bath failed to progress further in the European Champions Cup this season, but have a chance to redeem itself in the EPCR Challenge Cup. However, it will be a tricky test, as Pau are performing well on their home turf.
