Connacht scored a converted try at the start and the end of the first half against Cardiff in their recent European Challenge Cup round of the 16 clash, going into the break with a 14-8 lead. 

Connacht scored three more converted tries in the second stanza to register a 35-20 home win over Cardiff. 

Before that result, Connacht's last five home results have been a 17-7 loss to Ulster, a 52-24 win against Lyon, a 24-19 win against Connacht, and a 38-30 victory against Benetton before losing 30-24 to Munster. 

Connacht will use their home-ground advantage to get the winning results against Racing 92 and secure their place in the EPCR Challenge Cup semi-finals.

Matthew Devine, Sean Jansen, Finn Treacy, Shayne Bolton, and Paul Boyle scored a try each against Cardiff last weekend. 

JJ Hanrahan slotted three conversions in the match, whilst Josh Ioane contributed with two.

Racing 92 scored a penalty and a converted try in the first half against Perpignan in their recent European Challenge Cup round of 16 tie, but trailed 11-10 at the break. 

Racing added two converted tries to their tally in the second half to record a 24-18 away win over Perpignan last weekend. 

Racing 92 have experienced mixed fortunes in their last five away matches. They lost 21-17 to Montpellier, 36-24 to Toulon, and 29-19 to the Glasgow Warriors before beating La Rochelle 26-21 and Clermont 23-21. 

Racing 92 have recently improved in their away form. However, they have struggled to achieve consistent winning results during their travels this season.

Demba Bamba, Jordan Joseph, and Wame Naituvi dotted down over the try line against Perpignan last weekend. 

Owen Farrell kicked over a penalty and two conversions. 

Nolann Le Garrec slotted one conversion in the match.
