Castres are in awesome home form despite their inconsistencies on the road. With nine straight wins in front of their own fans, I am backing them to upset the odds with another win against Munster.

Castres have made a decent start to the Top 14 this season, winning six of their 11 games to date. They are currently placed seventh overall.

November began with Castres racking up two successive four-point wins in the Top 14 against Montpellier and La Rochelle, but they have lost their two matches since.

First, Castres were hammered 54-19 by Clermont on the Top 14 before losing 38-8 at Northampton in the Champions Cup last weekend.

Castres will field their strongest available side this weekend on home soil, so expect a few changes from last week.

Munster Form

Munster have struggled this season in the URC, as they often do at the start of the campaign. It has sort of become a habit over recent seasons. They are currently 11th on the table with just three wins from seven games.

That said, Munster have won their last two fixtures after suffering three defeats in a row to Leinster, Stormers and Sharks. After returning from a two-week tour of South Africa, Munster held off the Lions to win 17-10 a fortnight ago.

Last week, in the European Champions Cup, Munster were far too strong at home, thrashing Stade Francais 33-7.
